Hound Of The Baskervilles

Dr. Mortimer stared strangely at us for an instant, and his voice sank almost to a whisper as he answered, "Mr. Holmes, they were the footprints of a gigantic hound!" ~ Arthur Conan Doyle, The Hound Of The Baskervilles

I was passing through Lansdowne on the first day of February, when I noticed this photogenic dog waiting for their human. Quite friendly, though the hound wasn't really one for the camera.

  14. Looks like a golden lab; they are wonderful dogs. But nobody has taught this one how to pose for some character pointing a black box at him!

  19. What is it about a camera that dogs hate so much? It's like the know exactly what it is.

  26. Yellow Labrador retriever. Our lab doesn't look at the camera because he learned early on that they can flash and he doesn't like that. Now he studiously avoids looking. This one may also not want to get bad press for appearing to not be eagerly awaiting his companion. ;-)
