More today inside the cave within the Museum of Nature.
Magmatic rocks rise up out of the depths of the earth.
The minerals within magmatic rock can be very valuable, and very photogenic. Nature has created this work of art that carries a title- The Lovers.

I really love your last 3 photos.

DeleteIt's marvelous how simple rocks can be like jewels! I've always been interested in these precious stones. My grandfather even made all of his granddaughter a necklace with stones he found in Arizona and one of mine had a bug inside of it! That was truly something, he had a fairly nice rock polisher my father told us.
ReplyDeleteMy aunt was a rock hound.
