We begin today with Landscape, Ahuntsic, by Marc-Aurele Fortin, circa 1923-30.
Rossport, Lake Superior is by Yvonne McKague Housser, painted circa 1929.
I've always been drawn to this painting. Portrait Of Ethel Southam (Mrs. F.H. Toller) is a 1938 painting by Lilias Torrance Newton.
Girl With Cat is by Emily Coonan, dating to 1920.
Dorothy Stevens painted Amy around 1930.
This is Nonnie, also by Newton, circa 1920.
While here we have The Farmer's Daughter, a 1945 portrait by Prudence Heward.
Edwin Holgate was a member of the Group of Seven, and two of his nudes hang here, combining that with the landscape. This is Early Autumn, a 1936 painting.
Nude In A Landscape dates around 1930.
A panel looking at Prudence Heward, who we'll see more of to start things tomorrow.
