Having the tulips largely to yourself is a gift to the photographer. Usually when I come to the park during tulip time, it is in the quieter weekdays. A very early Sunday morning was a close second.
Along the path and facing the lake is this statue by the artist Henk Veerk. The Man With Two Hats is one of two matching statues. The other is in Apeldoorn, in the Netherlands. The statue marks the deep friendship between two countries that came out of the Second World War.
The path led me on.

So colorful! And that statue is interesting.
