Continuing on where I left off here at Kingswood with another look at the carriage house.
Here we see the guest cottage.
King entertained friends, family, and dignitaries during his time at Kingswood
Through to the fall in daytime, visitors can step inside the buildings. All of them feel very comfortable, very much like a home.
I am always fond of a good fireplace.
At Kingswood, the verandahs are big- time was meant to be spent outdoors, out for a walk, and even at the cottages, King wanted to spend as much time looking out at nature as possible.

Love this series. 😀
ReplyDeleteVery good sceneries
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteNice tour, I like the guest cottage. Take care, have a happy Thursday!
This is a place that you can visit over and over again and always see something that you passed over before.
ReplyDeleteKing was absolutely right to enjoy the outdoors as much as he did. I try to do the same, though my garden is quite a bit smaller.
ReplyDeleteWould love to be a guest there and spend a couple of idyllic days!
ReplyDeleteKing had a great looking place to entertain friends and family. It was a gentle age back then,
ReplyDeleteI would like to go to Kingswood, William.
ReplyDeleteKing's head was full of ideas for his residence and in the political world.
