I said yesterday that Oscar Peterson was the greatest musician this country has ever produced, and I'll continue to stand by that. He was a gift to the world.
I proceeded on. This fireplace sculpture, with the flag embedded, was still in fine shape.
And there were some new smaller ones mixed in with other smaller ones from the previous weekend.
I will have to take your word for it. I am more of an Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart type of guy when it comes to Canadian musicians. The flag sculpture looks nice enough.
ReplyDeleteI can see that.
DeleteWonderful shots, William, Oscar Peterson is still my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI was pleased by that sculpture.
DeleteOh my, the photos are awesome.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteOscar Peterson was certainly great; whether he was the greatest is a matter of personal choice. Glenn Gould would be a serious contender in my estimation. Angela Hewitt too.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Angela Hewitt in performance.
DeleteAwesome collection of ice sculptures. Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThe musician sculpture is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteI agree.
Delete...Oscar is dazzling!
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteI agree with you (to the degree I know a lot of other Canadian musicians!) Oscar Peterson is the best -- and that is a terrific sculpture.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteFull agreement here on Oscar Pederson.
ReplyDeleteHe was great.
DeleteI love piano music but never listened to Oscar Peterson, I'll have to check him out.
ReplyDeleteWell worth listening to.
DeleteWow! Amazing sculptures and photos ~

DeleteThe creations must've taken the artists a long time to make.
ReplyDeleteNot really, they do them in a couple of days. But that doesn't include planning and practice at home.
DeleteSculptures looks amazing, Awesome photography
ReplyDeleteThank you.
