Picking up where we left off yesterday, more views from within the Chateau Laurier at Christmas time.
Several paintings are in this particular space, two of which are visible on the far wall.
I decided to get a few detail shots of the trees before leaving.
Departing, I noticed a train running on a track up above, around the main lobby space.
Even the wreaths outside were fancy.

Beautiful job on capturing all these stunning details, William.

ReplyDeleteIt is.
DeleteInteresting that there weren't people in any of these photos.
ReplyDeleteThey were around. I tend to avoid photographing people.
DeleteI got a kick out of reading "a jerk" and thinking, I wonder who they are calling a jerk. Ah ha, she eventually figured out it was "with a jerk" as an adverb, and not considering any jolly old elf as a jerk!
ReplyDeleteYes, we use that word differently these days.
DeleteThat is a large house filled with fine Christmas decorations. William, I hope you had a great Christmas.

DeleteThey really do it up. I am sure there are people who'd rather be home. We spent a Christmas in a hotel in Kitchener/Waterloo one year. It was gruesome.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine.
DeleteI stayed at this hotel over a long weekend many years ago. It was a wonderful experience.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2026, William.
