Each December, the Chateau Laurier hosts Christmas trees, decorated by local businesses, with proceeds going to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. They are popular for visits and photo ops, and they start in the front lobby. I came one evening earlier in the month. This year, there seems to have been a common theme- the poem Twas The Night Before Christmas, whose words are repeatedly found in several of the trees.

This is a wonderful thing for the benefit of the Children's Hospital.
