Along The Route

Leaving Pink Lake on another shuttle, I took more shots as we went along. 

The next stop was the Mackenzie King Estate, though I wasn't getting off yet. I'd come back here later.

The stone walls are typical of the estate.

And it was back on the road for my next destination.

Autumn Shades

Pink Lake was a delight to see, even if I wasn't able to make the complete circuit around it this time.

I started back, taking shots as I went.

One last panorama for the trail.

And with this shot, back up away from the shore I was to go.

The lake still beckoned through the trees.

Pure Serenity

Pink Lake is a place of serenity, if not solitude. In some of these shots you can see people along the trail on the opposite shore.

I was on my way to one end of the lake.

Here at the end, a decision to make. My ankle was already hurting. How far do I go? 

Just a little further on this side, I decided, and then I'll double back to where I'd started.

By The Lake

 Some shots today from the shoreline of Pink Lake.

I did a panoramic at this spot.

And continued on.

The green tone to the lake became more prevalent.
