A Whole Lot Of Purple Tulips

The roadway in Gatineau that I took heading in the direction of the Canadian Museum of History took me past a series of raised flowerbeds on a wide sidewalk. Low bushes share this with tulips- this year many of them purple. A close look at the background in the first couple of shots might pick out the familiar structures of Parliament Hill, on the Ottawa side of the river.

  8. What a great color...and having them in a mass really makes them pop against the green foliage!
