Continuing on with things where I left off yesterday, this bed of tulips appeals to the visitor with its flow of colours
The next bed is less densely planted, and includes this sculpture.
Up ahead, the raised circular bed. In the days since my previous visit, the tulips were starting to really show, a mix of two different types.
The white with red tulips are Canada 150s, developed for the anniversary year in 2017.
I continued on.
Here we have the biggest of the standalone beds in the park.
Off to the side, tulips planted amid rocks and other plants.

What a beautiful place to walk.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's been 9 years since the Canada 150s came out. I've been looking at your photos of tulips at least that long each spring! Thanks for bending over so much for my pleasure! Oh, that sounds not quite what I meant, but I do appreciate your art.
