Odds And Ends In The Capital

I have an odds and ends post taken over the last few weeks today. This first shot is from late May, as I was passing by the work on the future main branch of the Ottawa Public Library out on Lebreton Flats. This is as tall as it's going to get, and we can see hints of what's been in the design plans.

On the last day of May, early in the morning, I was passing through the Glebe and noticed this little one having breakfast.

It was a wascally wabbit, as Fudd would say.

Until he or she decided they'd had enough of me, and bounced away.

Another morning, this in Centretown, with these beautiful patterns in the clouds.

And on another day, at Lansdowne Park, the skies off to the west were threatening.

Late in June, and back in the Glebe, another early morning encounter with a wascally wabbit.

This is the Westgate shopping centre out in Nepean. I took the shot for the dramatic clouds. I used to live in the area. These days I'm back once a week, as my comic book shop downtown has closed up, and its counterpart is near here.

A half hour or so later, waiting on a bus after getting my weekly subscription, I took this shot of the skies.

And I finish where I started, taken at the end of June, with the library work continuing.
