Face Off

Marine fossils are also part of the collection here.

Archelon is the largest turtle to have ever lived.

In the space beyond, a reproduced stand-off occupies the space. Two small feathered dinosaurs look on from their nest at much bigger beasts.

It is a face off between predators and prey, one that the visitor can walk between.

  6. I was going to say that I'm glad I didn't live when these fellows were around but, we have some equally scary fellows screwing things up in DC these days.
