Here are more shots today from within the sanctuary at St. Patrick's Basilica, with an emphasis on the stained glass. Photographing in here in the morning at this time of year has an advantage- the sun reflects off the office tower to the north, illuminating the north side windows as well.
Something so solid and eloquent. Speaks of history and culture.

ReplyDeletePhotographing stained glass windows is, for me, very much a hit or miss matter. Sometime I catch good light, other times darkness. I have never figured out why some days are good and some are bad. I either take the photos or curse, depending . . .
