Last Scenes From The Tulip Festival

Today is a finale for this year's Tulip Festival. What lasts a couple of weeks in May lasts me until the end of June in the blog.

I decided on some final shots from the larger bed in this portion of the park to end the series. I hope that you've enjoyed this.

From The Ground Up

Continuing on where I left off yesterday, one more shot from that bed of tulips I featured yesterday. Tomorrow we'll return to it.

Across the path, another one, fringed by muscari, or grape hyacinth.

Across the road and near the Dow's Lake Pavilion are these tulip sculptures.

And nearby, another bed of tulips with spring blossoms above.

I returned into the park.

Sometimes I like getting down onto the ground and having the tulips above me. It's ideal with a bed where grape hyacinth is growing too. Tomorrow we bring this series to a close.

An Eclectic Mix

I continue on today with the same bed of tulips I left off with yesterday.

In this neighbouring bed, some tulips were already done, while some were coming into their own.

Across the path, a different mix of tulips were to be found.

Floral Delight

I carried on with my walk, past this colourful mix of tulips.

The next bed beyond had a different mix.

Here's looking at it from the west side, framed by blossoms.

And then I took this shot of this bed where tulips are mixed in with other plants.

The Man With Two Hats was calling for a photo.

This little dog caught my eye, and looked quite dignified.

More of the tulips.
