Fate, Love, A Letter, And Loch Lomond

Back into the series again. Souvenir Of Loch Lomond is a dramatic painting by Gustave Dore, dating to 1875.

The Partie Carree is an 1870 work by James Tissot.

Jean-Leon Gerome painted Portrait Of A Woman in 1870.

The Letter is another Tissot painting, circa 1878.

Here we have another work by Dore. This sculpture is Fate And Love, dating to 1877 as a model and cast two years later.

The City Atlas is dated circa 1889, by Sidney Starr.

Edgar Degas painted At The Cafe-Concert circa 1879-84.

Portrait Of A Woman (After A 16th Century Florentine Drawing) dates to 1859-59, by Degas.

  11. The Partie Carree reminded me of Luncheon on the Grass, sans nudity. Ladies must be very careful of who they go on a picnic with, and avoid the wine.
