In the heat of summer, these would be a sauna. The two men working would need cold water, and would store food here for their meals as the train would run.

ReplyDeleteThere is a romance of travel by steam locomotive and steam ships. This was the first era of easy, rapid travel.

ReplyDeleteWe are lucky to have two preserved railways near us one has steam trains running regularly and my sone has a full time job there helping restore the old carriages, even I am a member so can go along when ever I want
