Photographer Viewpoints Above Confederation Hall

I paid a visit to Parliament Hill in early March, wanting to photograph from the Peace Tower before spring. Views of Confederation Hall awaits those on the upper level waiting for the elevator to the observation deck. This area is beneath the Peace Tower, and serves as an axis point for Centre Block, which was rebuilt entirely after the 1916 fire that destroyed the previous Centre Block.

  12. @Janey: the work crews and masons who built it did wonderful work.

    @Jan: it's tremendously appealing.

    @Mo: I quite agree!

    @Norma: thank you!

    @Red: it was well worth putting this amount of effort into it.

    @Grace: and more great views to come!

    @Jennifer: tours in the summer can be very busy, so just getting into the Tower itself can take awhile even if you're not doing a Centre Block tour.
