Autumn Colours In Various Locations

Continuing where I left off yesterday, more autumn shots in the Glebe neighbourhood.

A dog was walking its human as I passed this street.

Patterson Creek is an offshoot of the Rideau Canal that starts here. The water in the Canal had started to be lowered for winter when I was here.

The other side of the bridge takes in the stretch of the creek before it joins the main body of the Canal.

I continued on and took more shots around the neighbourhood.

One day I passed again by the Canadian Museum of Nature. On the east side of the property, a sculpture set stands of a mother and baby dinosaur pair. These are of the species chasmosaurus irvinensis.

I took this in Confederation Park, where the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument commands attention.

Another day, I was passing into Little Italy, where I photographed this tree against the backdrop of government buildings.

A short walk away, along a path that parallels an LRT line, I took this photograph.

This shot is from the Nepean area. I took a similar shot to this for the Vanishing Point theme day.

This is close to home, and taken at night, with a street light providing illumination for leaves in full colour.

Also taken close to home, lots of golden yellow across from where I was standing.

  5. Wonderful colours. It's good your country recognizes indigenous people, our current govt is very racist and it's sad to see.
