Finale

It was time to go. I took this shot of the main entrance of the Small Animals Barn.

And then over to the Dairy Barn.

And the Horse and Cattle Barn.

This view of the Small Animals Barn includes one of the barnyards.

Outside the Museum perimeter, I took these shots of the Horse and Cattle Barn.

I was heading for north, passing by the Cereal Barn as I went.

One final shot of the Dairy Barn.

Across the road, a historical plaque about the Experimental Farm.

A final shot, with the observatory in the distance. I hope you've enjoyed this visit to the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum.

Vantages

This turkey tom turned out to be quite the cooperative photo subject.

A look at the central area here in the barn.

More of the wascally wabbits.

Back outside, and a look across the barnyard to the Small Animals Barn.

The donkeys were still in here, with the cattle in the yard beyond.

The Side Eye

More today from inside the Horse and Cattle Barn- which has more than horses and cattle.

Hercules the bull was up on his feet. An animal of this size I would not want to annoy.

More of the chickens.

This display sign about horseshoes caught my eye.

I came back around to look in on the turkeys.

This one was surprisingly obliging for photo ops.

The tom seemed curious as to what I was up to, and started over.

Animal Poses

I wanted to go back into the Horse and Cattle Barn for more shots before I departed from the Museum.

The rabbits were at ease.

So were the horses.

I have no idea how I got this shot without seeing legs.

The chickens were ignoring me.

Being At Ease

One more shot of one of the quail I showed you yesterday.

This is a throwback to the past.

The little ones were snuggling up for a nap when I came back through.

Their mothers were still engaged in lunch.

As was the alpaca.

A look outside at this entrance to the barn.

The donkeys were still busy eating.

These two cows in the barnyard beyond had settled down to chew their cud.
