One more shot of one of the quail I showed you yesterday.
This is a throwback to the past.
The little ones were snuggling up for a nap when I came back through.
Their mothers were still engaged in lunch.
As was the alpaca.
A look outside at this entrance to the barn.
The donkeys were still busy eating.
These two cows in the barnyard beyond had settled down to chew their cud.
The cows look very cosy together.
ReplyDeleteThey do.
Delete...you stopped by at nap time.
ReplyDeleteA good time.
DeleteThe invention of cream is a miricle! The mouthfeel of it in coffee is much better than milk. It is used daily in my home.
ReplyDeleteI don't use it.

ReplyDeleteThey do.
DeleteWhen I was growing up we had a neighbor who milked cows and had a cream separator like the one you photographed.
ReplyDeleteIt's new to me.
DeleteThere is something so healing about our time in the farm yard. Thank you William. If you are a rogue, you are a reflective and thoughtful one. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeleteIt looks all quite relaxed.
ReplyDeleteTrue.
DeleteI often see the deer here sit and chew their cud, just as the cows in your photos were. Thye do look so at easera dn relaxed when they do that.
