In The Basilica

I stopped by St. Patrick's Basilica downtown one morning to photograph the sanctuary. The place was still decorated for the Christmas holidays. The parish dates back to 1855, and the current building, in the Gothic Revival style, was built in the 1870s. I have more shots from inside here tomorrow.

  9. You don't realize it's so large until you see in the sanctuary. It's no wonder they had the pulpit etc at such a high level.

  32. It's hard to imagine how old they are. Perth is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. We'll avoid this! Crowds don't make us happy...
