Views From The Peace Tower Observation Deck

Up on the observation deck in the Peace Tower, there are great views to be had. Some of these would be ideal for a theme day later in the year which has to do with looking down, but at present I already have shots from two different locations for that one. This first image looks east, to Major's Hill Park, the American embassy, the Connaught Building, and the Chateau Laurier.

Another easterly look takes in the East Block as well as the path of the Rideau Canal.

This display made me look up and photograph one of the clock faces on the Tower. The observation deck is directly beneath the clocks. More from here tomorrow.

  18. Reminds me of the Old Post Office building in D.C. now owned by Trump. Thank goodness the tower remains in the hands of our government. :-)
