Displays

Here's another perspective of the same bed of tulips I left off with yesterday, with tulips at left coming into bloom while others at right needed a few more days to show.

The bed across the path was of a similar state: some starting to show, others not yet, but also planted with companion flowers, such as below.

A short distance away in Little Italy, I photographed these a few minutes later. Tomorrow we'll check out other areas

  3. It's pretty clever the way they plant the tulips to open at different times to make the festival last longer, lovely compositions here William 🌷

  9. Grape hyacinths are so pretty (and I think they smell sweet also) but they are a hard flower to photograph...being so tiny. Those reds and yellows however...just pop!

    1. One of the benefits of lying down on the ground is giving those little ones a chance to shine.

  10. William - so impressive, knowing that someone planted all of them! The white ones are my favorites from this group. Enjoy your weekend!
