Here are more of the single ice sculptures done by the carvers, who come from all around the world, in Confederation Park. Before Winterlude is done, odds are there will be fresh sculptures placed here; it's a good idea to let crowds on the second and third weekends watch the process of ice carving. While I was here, I also took shots of the carvers getting to work on their larger sculptures, and will be showing you some of their early progress starting tomorrow.
This last sculpture is a larger one, set near one of the entrances into the park. It was already set up before Winterlude began, and looks quite formidable.
