This is on a street in Centretown.
A few blocks up is Dundonald Park. I took these two shots of the same street a few hours apart.
This is on the north flank of the park.
And this is another few blocks away.
I passed by this area east of the Rideau Canal one afternoon and the red ivy caught my eye. Arts Court is at left, occupying an old courthouse. The Carleton County Gaol is at centre, a former prison that is a hostel these days. And the white structure at right is the expanded quarters of the Ottawa Art Gallery.
On a different day I passed through Dundonald Park again.
Today I leave off with this Centretown view.
Beautiful colors indeed. We need to enjoy as long as it lasts...
ReplyDeleteWow - gorgeous colours!
ReplyDeleteGlorious autumn photos!
ReplyDeleteThis is a good time to post such photos as good reminders of what just was as the colours fade.
ReplyDelete...gold and red, two regal colors for this wonderful time of year!
ReplyDeleteIvy is a catastrophe it grows everywhere and once in a wall it's hard to get it out. It's sad that the leaves end all up on the ground and the trees will be naked soon. Don't like fall !
ReplyDeleteAwesome colours!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing quite like fall colours.
ReplyDeleteLovely colours, the red vine is beautiful:)
ReplyDeleteHello, beautiful trees and colors. I love the golds and reds. Happy weekend to you!

ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou make me so glad with your nice tree photos
ReplyDeleteAwesome colors . But you better tell someone to clean up the leaves. We don't get tht volume of leaves as our trees aren't that big.
ReplyDeleteI loved that last photo of the leaves on the ground. I wouldn't want to be the one to rake them, but I do love seeing them!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I love walking in this kind of weather.
ReplyDeleteQuite the scenic stroll. Tweeted.
ReplyDeleteAs belas cores do Outono, aproveito para desejar um bom fim-de-semana.
