Ice Sculptures Aglow With Colours

Here we have an ice bench, carved for the final weekend of Winterlude, lit up with colours.

Other small sculptures, some meant for photo ops, had been erected on the final weekend.

  9. The colored lights look nice but it is harder to see the details in the pieces. Some of those smaller pieces are quite complicated.

  22. The dinosaur made me smile.

I wonder how many ice wonders have been made over the years that we won't get to see because...well...they melt.

Who could play the harp? Maybe that superhero guy who shoots ice out of his hands.

  24. Great selection of works. And as appealing as the bench is I still think I'd rather find a warm spot, inside, with something warm to sip.

  25. Dear William, last night, I sent to comments but my Internet wouldn't play ball. I am sending a third (apologies if my other two come up) I scrolled slowly down and devoured these sculptures with my eyes. I don't get to see anything as fragile in our hot climate. Thanks for sharing. Jo
