This looks so cold indeed!
Hello, it is amazing to see these boats on the ice. Looks like a beautiful day. Great photos. Enjoy your day!
Looks like everyone is having fun! :-)
Still At It - I'll Bet The Sounds With All That Weight Are Pretty Amazing Cheers
Great capture of Number 6 boat! Yay for them.
They are working hard but must be having so much fun!
I can see that this would be exciting to watch.
It's the 'freezing cold' part the scares me.
The ice must be so thick to hold such weight, amazing sight!
@Lady Fi: it's quite something to see in person.@Tom: a whole lot.@Gattina: it is.@Francisco: thanks.@Marianne: I think it was the coldest day of the winter.@Eileen: thank you.@DJan: it was fun.@Padre: thanks.@Barbara: well done!@RedPat: a bit of both.@Red: it was, yes.@Sharon: I love cold.@Grace: yes, it is thick.
That doesn’t look easy!
A wonderful race with great sportsmanship.
Lots of fun but tough work.
A great event to watch!
I'm cold just looking at this!
@Marie: it's not!@Jan: that it is.@Bill: very much so.@Marleen: quite true.@Jeanie: me too!
Fun to see it in winter. Not for me, though. We're getting old and creaky!
I find it more fun to photograph.
Nice series of pictures. Loved your header.
Thank you.
I wonder if any of the teams do better on ice than on water.
Possibly. Of course the added hazard with this is that the dragonboats have a tendency to slide over to the side on ice, which wrecks momentum and pretty much puts you out of the race.
Looks like a cold but super fun day.
Very much so.
