Picking up where I left off yesterday, here are more views of the tulips in Jacques Cartier Park.
Departing, I paused to photograph the statue of Montreal Canadiens icon Maurice "Rocket" Richard, which stands at the main entrance into the park. Tulips were found here too.
Crossing west of the Alexandra Bridge brought me to the grounds of the Canadian Museum of History. The largest of the tulip beds on the property is here. Signage is for a temporary exhibit that I plan on seeing. More from here tomorrow.
The tulips are absolutely everywhere, how lucky you are to wander with such inspiration surrounding you. I have planted many bulbs this year from seeing your tour of the tulips in bloom.
ReplyDeleteIt must be so pleasant to walk there!
ReplyDeleteI'm still enjoying our tulip feast! There's plenty of statues of footballers and cricketers here, but no hockey-players as far as I know.

ReplyDeleteLovely flowers...and I imagine the plants are yanked out after they are finished blooming...but I've never grown tulips, so that's just a guess.
