There is a flower bed that lies between the grounds of Library and Archives Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada to the east. Here it is, with the Court in the background for this first shot.
I headed back across the street. These caught my eye.
These are outside St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, which stands across the street from the Court.
A short walk east, these were outside the main headquarters for the Bank of Canada.
And these were outside Notre Dame Basilica.
I like tulips but poppies are my favs! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteTulips really are everywhere! Strawberries and cream came to mind with the gentle colours of red and white, the sixth photo is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful combination of red and white. Love the poppy red. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe tulips are so lovely William, I feel the need after seeing your pics to pick up a bunch for home tomorrow 🌷
ReplyDeleteThank goodness our Supreme Court has never become so politicized as the one south of the border, even in the dark days of Harper the Idiot when he was making personal attacks on Beverly McLaughlin.
ReplyDelete...red and white is a classic color combination.
