The Circus Firemen were another act during Buskerfest. I caught them doing their act at the east end of Sparks Street one day. It's a combination of comedy, high balance, and juggling as the two banter with each other and the audience. Their finale makes use of juggling torches.
Wonderful photos of the events, William!
ReplyDeleteOn top of ladders? Juggling fire? And still talking? That's some act!
ReplyDeleteFun and enjoyable time! Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDelete...they sure draw a crowd.

@Nancy: it was fun.
@Tom: they do!
@Maywyn: it was a blast.
@Janis: they knew how to work a crowd.
@Eileen: thank you.
They had a big audience!
ReplyDeleteSurely a highlight !
ReplyDeleteThe more banter , the more entertaining. The more wiggly the props , the greater the suspense.
ReplyDeletemy brother juggles ... i have yet to ever figure it all out. i can do one ...but never worked well with many more??! ha. ha! nice outfits! ( ;
ReplyDeleteI seen them many times. The one set of entertainers picked me to be with them. For sure not doing the tricks. Just being a bystander to bring more people over to watch. They are great entertainment for all ages. Many of them told me this is the way they make money to go to University. I stayed in contact by email for many years with one humours group . Then now they have graduated University. Out in the regular world of working .
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Buskerfest was well attended William, that must be so satisfying for them, to perform before such a huge crowd!
ReplyDeleteClever fellows!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteThey are very popular & I'm sure so much fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteWow what a show!
ReplyDelete@RedPat: people really come out for this.
ReplyDelete@Karl: it's a lot of fun!
@Red: that's true!
@Beth: I would lack the coordination to try it.
@Carolann: it's quite a life. I should have attended the finale show, when all of the buskers perform together.
@Grace: it was a fun event to take in.
@Sharon: they're very good at what they do.
@Marleen: it definitely was.
@Christine: it's quite a treat.
@Janey: it was!
I'm impressed by those fire jugglers, incredible and a little crazy at the same time. The people loved it, I bet. Nice photos of the event, William. Ottawa is a place where there is always something happening. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah. I don't they would get away with that here in D.C. We've got enough flame throwers as it is. :)
ReplyDeleteThat juggling act looked quite uniqu and only wish the photos were a bit larger, William.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Those juggling firemen must have put on quite a show. Great photos William :)
ReplyDeleteThe crowds are huge!
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love fire fighters?
ReplyDeleteNice shots of this wonderful act.
ReplyDeleteLove the name of this group. Looks like they put on a good show.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have the Police Circus and Firemen's Rodeo here when I was a kid. They had acts like this, only not in the streets.
ReplyDeleteLots of skill and daring involved I imagine.
ReplyDeleteVery talented people. Good shots.
ReplyDelete@Bill: we have a lot going on.
ReplyDelete@Revrunner: hah!
@Beatrice: I should use the zoom lens more often, but I find the sharper shots come from regular resolution.
@Denise: thank you!
@Mari: this event draws people out.
@Cloudia: true!
ReplyDelete@Jan: thanks!
@Halcyon: they did.
@Norma: this is a tradition.
@Gemma: indeed.
@Klara: thanks!
