Mixed Colour

Tulip beds are planted with a mix of colours, as well as accompanying plants such as muscari.

Beds of tulips at the south end of Commissioners Park form the conclusion of this site's colours.

On this occasion, the path for me continued beneath the Bronson Avenue Bridge, where tulip sculptures were placed.

East of the bridge, alongside the parkway that follows the route of the Rideau Canal, this tulip bed can be found. Tomorrow I'll be at another site.

  13. I like the orange and yellow mix, but the last one seems a little too haphazard to me. However, it might look better in life than in a photo.

  15. So many thousands of bulbs...are they left in the ground through the year or replanted each year? I've never raised tulips so admit to ignorance.
