Cavern

The cave that has been built into the Earth Gallery is a wonder, with strategically placed lighting showing us reproductions of cave features.

  1. I have visited several cave systems and while I find them really interesting I can only stay down for a while before I start to feel claustrophobic and need to get back outside.

  5. I also will take my caves in this way only. I imagine the fun that was had in creating this one...craftsmanship! And it gives young people a chance to learn what the earth does naturally.

  9. Hello William. These photos inside are both beautiful and eerie, forgive me for not recognizing well but is this a real cave or is it man made? Some angles of the place look boxy for me but the details of the stalagmites and stalactites are stunning and real! And yes, the lighting is spectacular!

  12. How neat! We have quite a few limestone caverns here in the Shenandoah Valley. Let's see, I've toured Skyline Caverns, Shenandoah Caverns, Endless, Luray, and Natural Bridge Caverns. Also a few in Pennsylvania.
