The tulips drew me on when I made this walk in the park back in May.
The path continued towards an area that has a low stone wall, supporting a roadway above as it curves away from the park. This is a good spot for a flowerbed.
You can see here that one part of the bed was completely finished at the time, while other tulips were at their peak.
Those tulips look different! (Still beautiful, of course!)
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see all those multi coloured tulips. A great feast to the eyes.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tulips, the garden beds near the wall look lovely.
Take care, enjoy your day!
...tulips go with everything!
ReplyDeleteThe type of tulip in the last photo is different than the traditional tulips. Beautiful.
ReplyDelete@Iris: I agree.
ReplyDelete@Nancy: that they are.
@Eileen: thank you.
@Tom: they do.
@Marie: tulips, depending on the type, get all frilly at the end of the cycle.
Stone wall and gentle curve make for an eye catching bed of tulips.
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful against that stone wall.
ReplyDeleteThose double tulips look like roses!
