More looks inside the sanctuary of St. Onuphrius today.
Outside the church, the wide path is lined with exhibits about life in the west, where settlers worked the land in what was often a lonely existence.
Children went to one-room schoolhouses for their education.

Since the path winds right around the church, the visitor can look inside as well. This is the sacristy.
Photographs and artifacts look at the development of Winnipeg as a city as the 19th century gave way to the 20th century. We'll pick up here tomorrow.
