Prima Ballerina

This was one of the other shots that seemed to get a peculiar fringe. Look closely and you can see a ballerina (or is it a figure skater?) in the heart of the ice.

  5. É difícil definir com exatidão mas pela postura corporal parece mesmo uma bailarina
Uma imagem bem instigante e fabulosa

  6. At the first look of the photo, I couldn't figure out what this sculpture was. But now I see! That's a very pretty ballerina (or figure skater!)

  10. I think it looks like someone being pulled up into the air as they hang on to an umbrella.

  13. You're right that this carving is different. Now the skater or dancer looks like a very detailed carving.

  16. It has to be a skater. A ballerina would have died of cold ;-) It's very pretty!

  20. Yes I found her! I actually like the setting she's in, the edges of the block of ice look really good.

  21. She is so pretty and delicate! I have gone back and enlarged all of your pictures for the past few days so I could see the details. They are amazing!

  22. She is probably dancing to Ode to the Ice.

  24. @Whisk: she's there!

@Geoff: it's creative edging. Even if the figure weren't in the center of it all, it would still look interesting.
