Wanderings Of A Canadian Loon Through The National Capital And Beyond
I really like the second one, a lot.
What fine looking cars. Nice of you to share.
These cars are beautiful to look at but I think very expensive to keep them. I think the last photo is my favourite.
They definitely looked well loved.
Car shows are also great attractions for photographers. ;)
Love the old ones..special the black car.
That first one is a Dodge Challenger, isn't it? That was another popular car in the late 60s and early 70s.
Another fascinating set of photos of these cars. Adore that last car's impressive front feature.
The orange truck in the second photo is my favorite this time.
Gorgeous cars, but I am again picking the truck!
That first one looks FAST standing still. They always do. Nova?
Maybe a GTO now that I look closer.
People not only take great care of these cares but they spend a fortune on them. I also like looking at cars.
That last one is a real classic.
Wouldn't trust myself to have a gleaming car, even if it was a great oldie!
I especially love that second one!
Wasn't there a song about a GTO? That orange truck is cute!
Love the old truck. I like a car show. MB
Love the orange one!
Once again I like the truck - and I am not into trucks as a rule!
I think the last one is my favorite!
I think I've seen that orange truck on a trip through Montana. Of course I wanted it. LOL Nice photos.
I think I'm still kinda taken with the truck...
If I had one, I'd take care of it, too!
Old car shows are fun, fun, fun!
yup, devotees, for sure!
Old well-cared for cars are compelling, aren't they?
I'm guessing these pampered cars get the lion's share of their owners' time, attention, and disposable income!
we took are of our first car when we were kids. Now, I don't.
riding my 1974 BMW motorcycle throughout the 90's was very gratifying! Thanks Wm
They may be old but they are way shinier than the newer one I drive. ;))
I am feasting my eyes on to your last car. Nice and shinny. I like that front grill too.
@Whisk: thank you!@Blogoratti: thanks!@Nancy: my parents knew a family who had a huge barn- cars like these were kept in insulated space inside by people who didn't have room at their own homes.@Fun60: they are indeed.@Halcyon: they certainly are.@Brocante: thank you, I like that one too.@Revrunner: I think it is, yes.@Gemma: thank you!@Jan: it does stand out.@VP: that seems to be a common consensus.
@Birdman: I'm not sure... my dad had a Nova from a few years later. The Challenger or GTO is possible.@Red: they definitely have to be taken care of carefully.@Sharon: it certainly is.@Ciel: I'd end up denting one!@Linda: thank you!@Janey: a lot of people seem to be enjoying it!@MB: I do too, even if I can't ID cars!@Marleen: thanks!@RedPat: for me it depends on the truck!@Norma: thank you!
@Eve: that is a truck that stands out so well.@Geoff: you're not the only one!@Cheryl: so would I!@Mari: they definitely are.@Tex: big devotees!@Tex: they certainly are that.@Kay: I would think so.@Ann: I'd be out of my depth trying to figure out the mechanics of a car.@Cloudia: a motorbike is a whole lot of fun!@EG: the new ones will never be antiques.... they're not built to last.@Carolann: thank you!
Very cool!
Definitely.
I knew a guy who'd destress by washing his car, whether it needed it or not! He did it the day of his wedding.
I can see that.
I'll take the red one please as it is nice and shiny.
It is.
I really like the second one, a lot.
