Wanderings Of A Canadian Loon Through The National Capital And Beyond
They are all wonderful William! Takes one back in time...
Each of these thrills me in a different way!
Fabulous old classics! I love them all but the third one down, that one speaks to me.
Oh my gosh, I love the colour of the second one. Someday, I want a fridge that colour.
I love the old fire brigade vehicle! Must have been fun wandering through all these old timers.
Holy cow! What a fine collection of oldies.
There are a lot of old cars preserved, nice to watch them.
They really don't make them like that any more - which is both good and bad I suppose!Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Great exhibit! Thanks for sharing it. :-)
I like them all, but the ancient fire truck is really great!
Now those ones are unusual!
love the fire engine and the buggy ... that might not be the right word?? buggy? any who you know what i mean. very cool!! ( :
Amazing collection! They do look unique, love all of them!
My parents had one exactly like the third one.
They are all wonderful cars, but the second one is truly awesome!
I LOVE that delivery truck.
@Sid: they certainly do.@Cloudia: thank you!@Denise: it's well taken care of.@Whisk: it's a colour that really stands out.@Halcyon: they're fascinating vehicles, those old fire trucks.@Andy: thank you, they certainly were!@Marianne: it certainly is.
@Revrunner: you're welcome.@VP: I really like that one too.@Gnome: they certainly are.@Beth: as I recall, in the early days they called them horseless carriages.@Nancy: thank you!@Norma: it's a good car to have!@Jan: I think my dad might have had one of them.@Sharon: Me too!
I recognize most but not the last one. That was a wee bit before my time. The good ol' days are fun in revival!
Now my Dad had a 57 Chev that was rose and ivory. I didn't get to drive it much as I left home soon after he got it. I see by the line ups of cars that you had a big job photographing the cars.
I love the colours. People take such pride in their old cars, don't they?
There was a city bakery here that had a fleet of black and white trucks like this. They had chocolate powered donuts to die for... well, at least for a 10 year old. mmmmmmmmmm
@Shelly: indeed!@Lowell: the last one reminds me of a Ken Burns documentary called Horatio's Drive, in which a doctor made a fifty dollar bet in 1903 that he could drive across the country inside of three months.@Red: there were really a lot of them out there this year.@Jennifer: they certainly do.@Birdman: I noticed looking at the pics that I turned up in a reflection in that delivery truck's window!
Once again I'm LOVING the truck!
Ooooohhhhh.......the second and third are my favourites!!! I love the colour and style!
Now they are left few.Tomás.
I really like that greenish blue colour.
the delivery van is my favourite of the bunch.
An interesting collection again. My favourites must be the first unusual vehicle and the stylish design of the last one.
A horseless carriage! I wish I could see one in person!
Oooh I'll take the fire engine today!
I'm with Ciel, love the fire engine, has it got a bell....
@RedPat: thank you!@Linda: I've enjoyed seeing how people have reacted to these cars.@Tomas: yes, that's all of them- I could have taken a lot more shots!@Marleen: it is a colour that really stands out.@Gill: a lot of people like that one.@Gemma: thank you!@Cheryl: it's the oldest car I've ever seen!@Ciel: that one's popular too!@Geoff: it does!
Oh they are all so lovely I have always loved vintage classic cars and trucks . Lovely photos ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !

The fire engine is mighty fine but I think I like that delivery van best.
The last two are priceless!
