Vehicles Drawn Out Of Time

I am finishing off my series of classic cars on Sparks Street today.

At the end of the line were these two, the second even older than the first.

  8. They really don't make them like that any more - which is both good and bad I suppose!

  17. I recognize most but not the last one. That was a wee bit before my time. The good ol' days are fun in revival!

  18. Now my Dad had a 57 Chev that was rose and ivory. I didn't get to drive it much as I left home soon after he got it. I see by the line ups of cars that you had a big job photographing the cars.

  20. There was a city bakery here that had a fleet of black and white trucks like this. They had chocolate powered donuts to die for... well, at least for a 10 year old. mmmmmmmmmm

  21. @Shelly: indeed!

    @Lowell: the last one reminds me of a Ken Burns documentary called Horatio's Drive, in which a doctor made a fifty dollar bet in 1903 that he could drive across the country inside of three months.

    @Red: there were really a lot of them out there this year.

    @Jennifer: they certainly do.

    @Birdman: I noticed looking at the pics that I turned up in a reflection in that delivery truck's window!
