These were taken on the last day of the festival, Victoria Day, May 23rd. They are from Major's Hill Park, namely the tulips east of Colonel By's statue. The tulips looked particularly beautiful with the tree blossoms and the surrounding architecture.

i think the folks who do these gardens need some major attention. no wonder you do so many posts on these beauties. love the red and white & red & yellow colors. so so so amazing!! my hat off to them. what else can you say? i don't wear a hat. ha. ha! but you know what i mean, right???!? happy FRIDAY!! @Red: admittedly the camera doesn't tell all- I kind of prefer when possible to shoot around crowds, and there were a good number of people there that day. I might go for close ups or wait for enough of a lull to photograph with fewer people in the shot. Sometimes I want people in the shot.
