I'm finishing off my series from the Museum of History today with these views of the Grand Hall.
This includes exterior views looking in at the Grand Hall lit up for the evening, from where the fountain usually runs during warmer weather. The snow was still falling when I left the Museum, though not as heavily as when I arrived. The view across to Ottawa and the Hill was better.
That last photo is so dreamy. Lovely series, William.

ReplyDeleteWonderful to see these, William.
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly a grand hall. And love the atmospheric lighting in the last photo.
ReplyDeleteEnough snow that it would have pretty much stymied today's Inauguration in D.C.
ReplyDeleteYou've got some people in some shots so you get an idea of the size of the gigantic great hall.
ReplyDelete@Bill: it was cold!
ReplyDelete@Marleen: thanks!
@Gemma: it's a marvelous design, this museum.
