The Finale For The Festival
Today I bring my series on the Tulip Festival to a close with these final shots from Commissioners Park at Dow's Lake. I have enjoyed showing this year's edition, and have enjoyed your comments throughout.
I have never seen so many tulips in person so Thank You for all the photos.ReplyDelete
What does the city do after they die ?
What a gorgeous conclusion. I hate to see this come to an end. Thank you for this series. It's well worth looking forward to each year.ReplyDelete
Wow! Those colors are amazing. Awesome photos again William.ReplyDelete
Makes a gorgeous header too.ReplyDelete
And a fitting finale it is what with that wide array of colors.ReplyDelete
Thanks for the nice pictures, I have this year twice experienced the spring and the beautiful season of tulips!ReplyDelete
I have enjoyed each and every photo you have shared. Hope you have a lovely day.ReplyDelete
Que maravilha estes tapetes de tulipas.ReplyDelete

...all good things must come to an end!ReplyDelete
The finale, indeed, was grand! A carpet of tulips reminiscent of the "gran finale" at the fireworks display.ReplyDelete
@Parsnip: they plant fresh plants for summer.ReplyDelete
@Kay: it has been fun.
@Denise: thank you.
@Ella: you're welcome.
@Mildred: it has been a pleasure.
@Janis: I can see that.
That first bed in incredible!ReplyDelete
What a stunning festival! It must be a pleasure each year to anticipate all this beauty after such a difficult winter season!ReplyDelete

I certainly enjoyed this tulip extravaganza, too. Thank you, William. :-)ReplyDelete
Oh William, I will be so sad to see this series end. You have done some remarkable work.ReplyDelete
You saved the best till last.ReplyDelete
The expanse and the variety of colors.....all very impressive.ReplyDelete
Wow, the great finale ! An explosion of colours !ReplyDelete
This was a great finale for this series. I fully enjoyed seeing tons of colorful tulips!ReplyDelete
Wow. Saved the best for last, you did!ReplyDelete
Some really affecting shots, William!ReplyDelete
Jesus H. ... I was just reading about Doug Ford and the election...what the hell is going on? He's another Trumpf! I mean, really, haven't you learned a thing after hearing about our situation? This is so sad! Does he have a chance? He doesn't sound much better than his brother. And the whole family seems as messed up as the Trump family. Yikes!ReplyDelete
Outstanding photos and displays. Boggles the mind to think about the hours it takes to plant all those bulbs.ReplyDelete
I think you saved the best for last, William!ReplyDelete
@Kate: it is!
@Beth: I've seen days where it is windy with these tulips.
@Eileen: thank you!
@DJan: you're welcome.
@Jeanie: I've enjoyed showing it.
@Red: it feels that way!
@Sharon: it is!
@Tamago: so do I.
@Lowell: If the insufferable drug dealing SOB wins, hopefully it's a minority and he can be held in check. If he loses, his demented supporters (pretty much like Trumpites) will never get over it. If it turns out to be an NDP government in the province tomorrow, that is fine with me.
@Mawyn: it's a lot of work.
@RedPat: thank you!
I want to run through this field of tulips.
I love the white trim 🌷🌷🌷🌷ReplyDelete
The finale deserves a standing ovation. Incredible!ReplyDelete
Wow, wow, wow! I need to see that some day!ReplyDelete
