I'm stepping away from Commissioners Park today to show you different locations. Tulips can be found in odd spots aside from the formal gardens during the festival. These two shots are from a flowerbed area at the Greyhound bus station, where tulips are mingling with bushes and shrubs. I took these on Tuesday and continued on my way.
A short walk away, at the Ottawa Chinese United Church in the Glebe, more tulips are found outside the basement windows.
Down the street at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, the flowerbeds at the front of the church are a mix of shrubs, daffodils, and tulips at the moment.
And further down the street in the Old Ottawa South area, flowerbeds feature tulips at the moment outside the Sunnyside branch of the Ottawa Public Library.
Yesterday morning, I photographed a couple of residential gardens, both in Centretown.
