No Sign Of Claustrophobia

Having had successfully conned an onlooker into the ring, Bendy Em carried on with her act, doing a handstand and using that onlooker as the platform for it.

I noticed this very good dog nearby.

Bendy Em got a second onlooker into the act, doing another handstand high over their shoulders.

And then it was time for the finale of her act. She set up a glass box on a steel frame during the early proceedings I showed yesterday. She then tucks her entire frame into that box, and her helpers close it up. You try doing that.

All done, she leapt out and took a bow. The audience loved it. I've seen her do this act several times, and it still baffles me that she can get in there.

Afterwards, it's customary for the audience to pay the busker, something I did. Bendy Em's performance is a show stopper, and well worth it. Tomorrow we move onto a different subject matter.

  5. It's amazing what contortionists can get up to, tying themselves in knots, but really it just makes me squirm, I'd rather not watch it.

  12. I've seen a contortionist do that and find it amazing how they can bend to fit in a small box. Hard way to earn a living, I hope she tipped well.

  21. This performer, Bendy Em, and the ones included in your previous posts must have been quite fun to see. It’s always difficult to get good shots of street oerformers with the large crowds they attract, but these were fun to see.
