The Chateau Laurier hotel has a tradition each year. Christmas trees are decorated, sponsored by local companies and organizations, and the public can vote on which one they like the most. This is done as a charitable venture, benefitting the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario's foundation. This year music seemed to be a prevailing theme among a number of them, spread around the Chateau lobby and the nearby corridors. I'll show you more of them over the next two days.
Oh, pretty shiny things! I hope you had a lovely Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI wish you happiness, peace and great health not just this Christmas, but always!
ReplyDeleteBelated Merry Christmas to you!
… and of course ... "Die hard" is a great film for Christmas! Tonight on one of our TV channels, the first film of the series will be shown!
Nice lights in the trees.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea that it's charity that benefits a Children's Hospital.
ReplyDeleteBut all the glitter and glamour is a little too much for me in the early morning. ... ;-)
I have walked past the Chateau Laurier many times, but have never stepped inside.
