One day in mid-May I went onto the Portage Bridge to photograph the view of the river downstream from there as I do a couple of times a month. On this occasion I carried on along the bridge to where it enters Gatineau. There is a flower bed here that I know of, filled with tulips at the time, a mix of pinks, whites, and yellows. A pleasure to see.
Tulips from previous years have spread into the nearby lawn. Evidence of the productivity of squirrel gardeners.
One more for today. We will carry on here tomorrow.
