The Croscup Room is a delight to step into, with its muraled walls.
Back out into the main galleries. Here we have The Port of Halifax, circa 1835, attributed to John Poad Drake.
The Frank Off George Island, Halifax is by John O'Brien, dating around 1856.
Two paintings hang side by side, always drawing me to them. Mrs. John Beverley Robinson is an 1845 painting by George Berthon.
Miss Amelia Boddy is from the same year, by the artist John Bell-Smith.
For today, we finish with a painting attributed to Robert Whale. The Canada Southern Railway At Niagara dates around 1870.
What a delightful space!
