On the same night that I was heading over to the Rideau Canal for my last walk on the ice, my route took me past the Canadian Museum of Nature. I'd meant to take a shot or two for my odds and ends post, but it turned out to be more. I approached from the west, with the statues of a mammoth family guarding the path.
The Moon was hanging in the Queens Lantern, reflected in the glass.
The exterior walls of the Museum have animals carved into them. At night, recessed lighting has a dramatic effect on the building.
A zoomed in close up of the Moon inside.
So dramatic!
