Distorted Views Of A Glass Wall

The glass wall here at the Convention Centre certainly allows for good reflections.

My title yesterday was in reference to the character Kang, a time travelling pain in the neck Big Bad where the Avengers are concerned. A terrific character, but let's just say trying to work him into a movie would cause no end of headaches.

  1. Thanks for the change to spring. Let's start another stage of life. These flowers encourage it!
    Have a good weekend!

  9. William, I'm always fascinated at the biuldings that have all that glass. The reflections are beautiful, but what about the construction and the safety?

  10. @Tomas: it was time for a changeover, and I picked that one out some weeks ago for the spring banner.

    @Linda: it was taken in Jacques Cartier Park on the Gatineau side of the Ottawa River last May.

    @Marianne: it can have that effect.

    @Janis: thanks!

    @Luis: thank you.

    @VP: it certainly is.

    @Geoff: it was time to change, and somehow the Tulip Festival seems very springlike and appropriate.

    @Tex: definitely!

    @Birdman: thanks!

    @Red: it never seems quite the same, one day to another, photographing there.

    @Linda: the glass is quite strong and well cared for, and it has a great network of steel beams keeping it all in place.

  25. Those diamond shapes certainly offer the avid photography many a photo opportunity to get some unusual shots. And these photos are intriguing. Like distorted realities with creative flair.

  27. I too enjoy photographing glass walls and office buildings in large cities are always such good subjects. Sorry for not keeping up with recent blog posts, but even if I don't always comment, still try to read as many as I can but not on a daily basis. Thanks for your recent comments on our posts as well.
