Flexible Legwork
Lisa Lottie is a busker based out of Britain and Australia, and a link to her Facebook page can be found here. She specializes in tricks with hula hoops and body contortion, and watching her at work bantering with the crowd was a lot of fun.
Body contortion is something. Hubby and I like to watch America's Got Talent along with Judges. Howard, Howie and of course Nick as the Ambassador introducing the contestants.
They had this year about two Contortions. Those bodies can twist like a pretzel. ,
Very cool!
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I was that limber :)
ReplyDeleteDoes she have any bones? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNeato.
ReplyDeleteAmazing what you can do with only your body.
ReplyDeleteSo amazing what people like her can do with their bodies!
ReplyDeleteShe is made of rubber!
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots, those last two there! I'll bet it was fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteJanis

Now if we could all be so flexible with our minds. :-)
ReplyDeleteShe's incredibly agile!
ReplyDeleteJust looked over the last few street performers and I must say they must have bee well worth stopping to watch

Hula hoops? Kids play... just joking, I'd be in traction after an afternoon doing this. Applause now!
ReplyDeleteAmazing, must have been really fun to watch, William !
ReplyDeleteLooks fun!
ReplyDeleteShe's a very talented busker. They use props in a very skillful way.
ReplyDelete@Linda: indeed!
ReplyDelete@Denise: I know I'm not.
@Halcyon: one must wonder!
@Whisk: I thought so myself.
@Marianne: and she made it look easy.
@Nancy: it must take so much practice.
@VP: it looks like it!
@Janis: it really was.
@Revrunner: if only!
ReplyDelete@EG: she certainly is.
@Bill: it was quite a lot of fun watching these buskers over the course of the weekend.
@Carolann: there's an Australian who's been here on occasion named Bendy Em, and she can fold herself into a glass box.
@Birdman: you wouldn't be the only one in traction!
@Karl: it certainly was!
@Sharon: it was fun seeing her do this.

@Ciel: you're not the only one.
@Jan: many seem to be saying that!

@Tex: indeed!
@Linda: by comparison!
@Gemma: the crowd loved her.
It's exhausting just looking at these pictures let alone perform them..
ReplyDeleteI can't do it!
DeleteSigh, once upon a time, I could do all sorts of things. I would not have risked it up in the air though.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't!
DeleteThis makes me feel soooooo UNlimber!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great group of buskets! Lots of talent!
it's fun to see each year.
